Community Minibus

The minibus is principally used in the week to take older residents to exercise activities, various clubs, shopping trips, attend doctors appointments and outings. At weekends and in the evenings the minibus is available for general use by village groups.

We are offering a six-week Hope Again programme which is open to all who are living with loss.

HICOM (Histon & Impington Community) is a village based charity whose principal objective is the general community wellbeing of residents of all ages in the villages of Histon and Impington. Formed in 1998, HICOM operates the village Minibus and employs avillage wellbeing team including the Older Persons Worker, Dementia Worker and the Mental Wellbeing Worker to provide signposting, assist with early intervention and prevention and increase awareness.
