Here are some events that take place regularly at the Histon Recreation Ground Centre

HI Rec Monday Club

The HI Rec Monday Club provides a variety of social exercise activities to help those recovering from strokes or living with long term conditions, led by professional instructors from Pos+Ability at Histon & Impington Recreation Ground Centre. Transport is available locally for these activities via the Community Minibus.

Chair Based Exercise Class

Enjoy social fitness with fun chair-based exercises using a mixture of seated and standing positions, plus a cup of tea to finish!  Led by experienced instructors.

Every Monday 10am to 11:15am

A weekly charge is made to cover costs.

Specialist Exercise Class

Providing specialist activity sessions to those recovering from strokes or living with long term conditions. Experienced instructors provide structured and focussed support!

Every Monday 11:30am to 1:30pm

A weekly charge is made to cover costs.

Memory & Coordination Exercise Class

Enjoy this friendly informal activity session with exercises & games led by experienced instructors, plus a cup of tea to finish!

Every Monday 2pm  to  3pm

A weekly charge is made to cover costs.

Singing Group

Not a choir, no audition, good friends, good company

Tai Chi

Interested in practising Tai Chi? Why not think about joining these Moi Tai Chi local sessions.

Tuesdays

**   10.45 – 11.45 seated set Suitable for people of all ages, experiencing hip and knee problems and tor those pre or post operations. In addition, for those who are presently or permanently wheel chair bound £3

**   11.45 – 12.45 Complete beginners standing set  £3

**   1.00 – 2.30 suitable for those that have some experience, at least a year, in Tia Chi £3

Thursdays

**   11.30 – 1.30 For those who have experience of most or all of the set movements. £3

No special clothing to be purchased. Comfy clothing and as flat shoes as possible.
