5pm to 7pm on 2nd & 4th Wednesdays monthly in the Saint Andrew’s Centre Café,High Street, Histon CB24 9JE
The Worry Tree café offers a safe, friendly, non-judgemental space for individuals over 18s in our area who are suffering a downturn in their mental wellbeing. The café is available to anyone who may be feeling isolated, lonely or overwhelmed (perhaps as a sole carer a single parent, or due to a bereavement) and to those of us feeling anxious or suffering from low mood or depression.
You can always expect to get a friendly welcome at the Worry Tree Cafe. You can have some refreshments, meet others with similar experiences, be listened to or just sit in company if you prefer. There is no requirement to share your story, but we will supported you if you wish to do so. This is a supportive space, but it is not therapy. If you wish we can signpost you to counselling or other therapeutic services and talk you through the available options. We also hope to be able to hold periodic “information evenings” on wellbeing topics that are of interest to you.
The Café is for you
If you are feeling lonely, isolated, overwhelmed or you are suffering from anxiety, low mood or depression. You might choose to come if you are struggling as a sole carer, single parent or have experienced a bereavement. Whatever the reason come along to the Worry Tree Café, where there will always be someone there to say hello and to help you find the support you need.
The Café is for anyone over the age of 18 wherever you live and the refreshments are free.
